The AAAI-26 Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Cyber Security (AICS)

Monday, January 26, 2026

12:00 AM – 11:59 PM

Singapore EXPO

Introduction

The workshop will focus on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to problems in cyber security. While AI has shown tremendous promise in enhancing human decision-making in cyber security and even automating critical security functions, the security of these AI-enabled systems themselves remains a vulnerable frontier. The workshop will address technologies and their applications in security, such as, machine learning, game theory, natural language processing, knowledge representation, automated and assistive reasoning and human machine interactions.

This year, we will welcome a special focus on the agentic tool-use of cybersecurity systems and tools. Security Operation Centers (SOCs) and malware analysts are inundated with tools, alerts, and systems that require years of experience, large amounts of contextual information, and were not previously designed to interoperate together. These challenges make Cybersecurity a particularly fruitful area for research with real-world impact.

We invite work at the intersection of AI (all AI topics in AAAI) and cybersecurity that help improve the understanding of this complex space.
